| Terry Pratchett, born Terence David John Pratchett in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire in 1948, is a prolific author primarly of fantasy and science fiction works. He was the UK's best selling author throughout the 1990s and remains to this day one of the most widely read authors throughout the world. Terry Pratchett's most famous work is the Discworld series of books, of which over 40 have been published since The Colour of Magic was published in 1983. |
